Baseball is back and I am so excited! During President's Day last week, I traveled to Fort Lauderdale. I was lucky enough to be in Florida the week practice started and players reported. It was an awesome experience and I got to meet some amazing players.

Day 1: On the first day out of two I went to Jupiter, Florida where the Marlins and Cardinals practice. We got there at 10:00 am. I was hoping to get there earlier to see the Marlins. I got to see a glimpse of the Marlins practice. I saw Luis Arraez suiting up and hitting in live at-bats. The marlins minor league players had a scrimmage that day so I got to meet a whole lot of prospects and minor leaguers. Some of the big league guys that I met and got autographs from included: Josh McIntosh and Josh Simpson. On the Cardinals side we had a lot more success from their team. It was batting practice and live at-bats. The Cardinals got a lot of sneaky pop on their team. Their minor league fields were also exciting with Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn. The amazing group had Tyler O'Neill, Willson Contreas, Nolan Arenado and the NL MVP Paul Goldschmit. I met and got autographs from Juan Yepez, Brenden Donovan, Masyn Winn, Jordan Walker, Paul Dejong, Tommy Edman, Dylan Carlson, Tyler O’Neill, Adam Wainwright and Paul Goldschmidt. All of these players were extremely nice and I loved going to this park!

Day 2: I went to the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches where the Astros and Nationals play. We got there at 9:30, I went to the Astros first where the facilities were very open for players and fans. There were a lot of fans congratulating them on their world series win and overall the ushers were nice and we had a great experience. Some of the players we met included Marty Costes, C.J. Stubbs, Luke Berryhill, Jake Meyers, Corey Jurks, Ty Buttrey, Scott Schreiber, David Hensly, Chas McCormick, Joe Perez, Martin Maldanado, Ryne Stanek, Jose Abreu, Jeff Bagwell and Alex Bregman. I loved coming to this ballpark (it was my second time). Everyone was so nice and the vibe was amazing. Unfortunately, I was so caught up on seeing the Astros that when I wanted to go see the Nationals their practice was finished

In conclusion, I loved going to both ballparks. I like the people at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, But I had more success at Roger Dean stadium. I recommend going to both of these practices. It's very fun and I had an amazing time!
